So you fell in love...

And life became right and you found that you had a new potential, a new outlook and overall feel like you have a second chance.

Yes, rewind that. The big naughty word "porn star." But that wasn't what you saw. You saw a happy person loving her life, her job and explaining exactly what she does in the sex industry. You were embarrassed and had and still have loads of questions, but the more you learned about her, the more you understood like all jobs it has its ups and downs. You took that step to be in a new relationship as it is filled with communication, boundary definitions and openness, maturity, happiness, physical and mental chemistry. It's a functioning a growing/loving relationship. It's a healthy relationship.

Wow... and it's with a porn star....to me how a word is said, the connotation can be the most degrading statement when it's backed with uneducated judgment.

Porn star... a job, a career, part of a multi million dollar industry filled with educated performers and workers on and off camera. It's filled with college students, mothers, grandmothers, men, transgendered, black, white, asian, so many colors, so many tastes, bisexual, straight, "gay for pay," and in so many ways like any job can be viewed as degrading, low, unethical and whore like.

One of my best friends who left the business due to her mother thinking her grandchildren would get AIDs from the blankets must be mixing that lore with the discoverers of the Americas contaminating blankets with small pox and giving them to the natives. Yup that was me sleeping over! Who knew I was giving AIDs by transmitting thru blankets.

Sounds ridiculous?

I always shied away from the name porn star. I thought it was too luminous. It made me feel like the center of attention and yet when I perform you are in essence the center of attention, but to be addressed as such to me just wasn't my cup of tea or coffee or energy drink. I like porn chick or adult performer... I love reading on twitter this evening euphemisms for this so called horrible industry: erotic stimulation engineer, vagabond raconteur, gentlemen pornographer, pixel farmer, electronic migrant worker and so many working names in the "naked people industry."

My publicist Pipeline Industry and one of my besties Tiki said about PORN STARS "damn straight - have worked with executives, doctors, nurses, therapists who didn't have the ethical fibre of many industry friends." You realize how many musicians, college graduates and military veterans are in this business?

We call our genitals: kitties, puss puss, pee pee, cunt, dick, pecker and penis. We call are sex fucking, lovemaking, passionate embraces, insertions, banging and sport fucking. We do what we want as it is our job and joy and most of us are content. Most of us love what we do and like any other job in life you have the good days and bad days. You have the good companies and the bad companies. You have scenes where it was epic and become great friends and you have the not so good scenes ending in not so happy ways. You have a no list. You have a to do list. You have a yes list. You have goals be it buy a house, pay for college, build your own production company, start a family, body modifications...goals.

You breath, think, educate, and be. You have decisions to make and sometimes they are not the greatest decisions but you are responsible for them. You understand by performing in a video that your family may find it, your high school friends might find it, and you may become the talk of the town for awhile. In my opinion, being a Porn Star has a lot of obligations you have to be prepared to respond to, to set the example and be ready to stand tall.

I never embraced that word Porn Star, but you know what, I do now. For me it is not just the performing, it's working with so many beautiful people that I love to hang out with, cook for, train with, and support. It's about responding to emails from people exploring their sexuality and wanting help in their life. It's about being human and serving your community the best way you can...and that's by being happy!

If I pursued being a teacher after graduating cum laude BA English or continued full time as a mortgage broker or stayed 20 years in the Marine Corps would I achieve happiness in the work force? I would because my character would be the same. I would be helping people.

This tangent tonight is my way of helping someone close, whom I love and has my heart. He has to deal with someone who doesn't want to understand. They wish to judge. So what can I do? What can you do?
